It’s time to make a splash… Swimmer Badge testing for Bedford Scouts

The District Cub Scout section has organised a Swimmer Badge testing session (for all stages), to take place on Sunday November 25th, 2012 at Bedford School Pool, Burnaby Road (off De Pary’s Avenue).

Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers should arrive at 2.00 p.m.  Any young people wishing to only take stage 3, 4 or 5 should arrive at 3.30 p.m (no earlier). The testing will be completed by 6 p.m. Leaders’ help is not essential but is most welcome.

The fee is £2 per child to cover the cost of the hire of the pool. This is to be paid on arrival at the booking-in desk.

Leaders in the District will have forms to fill in (alternatively a form can be found below) and return to Jackie Lawes who says,

Stage 1 Swimmer Activity Badge.

This is a fantastic opportunity for all the young people in Scouting in Bedford for them to come together to be tested as a large group for their Swimmer Badge.

There will be a charge of £2.00 per child to cover the cost of pool hire. This will be payable on arrival at the booking in desk.

All participants should bring a t-shirt and a pair of shorts as well. As with all Scout activities, these should have your name in them.
