We will remember them…

This morning, members of the Onesters, Putnoe & Holy Cross Goldington, Panthers Explorers, and Pillage Network joined with many hundreds of people for the Remembrance Day Parade at The Embankment. Deputy District Commissioner, Peter Davies said to the Scouts involved after the parade:
You did yourselves, the District, and Scouting proud

HM Lord Lieutenant for Bedfordshire, Mrs Helen Nellis, came and spoke to some of the young people who took part in Harpur Square. Mrs Nellis is also the County President of Bedfordshire Scouts and she thanked everyone for coming along, and said that she was delighted that there was such a great turnout from Scouting there this morning.

A great big pat on the back to all Scouts for attending and thanks to all the Leaders in the District who made it possible.
