Scouting Volunteers Get Ahead in Job Search

All adults in Scouting benefit from their experiences providing everyday adventure to the Scouts that we help.

However, we may not be altogether sure how to put that experience of ours down on paper in a CV or job application.

For all of us who may be looking for a little bit of additional help, The Scout Association has recently published a helpful guide. Take a look at Get Ahead today.

I know from personal experience that it was my Scouting experiences as a youth member that potential and actual employers were pleased to see and wanted to know about. I’m sure it will help us all to let them know about our experiences and skills as adult volunteers.

Irish, formerly known as Michael, a student with The Open University, living in Dublin with his husband Andrew and their three cats. Also interested in first aid, heraldry, Scouting, and occasionally to be found at the organ or in a bell tower.
